Our Story

Motology School

It was March 20th, 2004—the kind of crisp, early-season day every rider waits for. We were an hour west of Calgary on the 1A, surrounded by close friends and the beauty of Alberta. But in a split second, the perfect ride turned into a nightmare.

As we rounded a left sweeper, I watched in helpless horror as an oncoming car drifted wide, crossing the solid yellow line. There was no time to react. The car struck my fellow rider—a member of my own family—head-on. The combined force of 120km/h shattered everything. In an explosion of dust and debris, the motorcycle disintegrated, and a life was instantly, violently taken. The driver of the car sat in the ditch, shaken but safe, while we were left with the silence of a tragedy that never should have happened.

That moment on the asphalt changed me forever. It lit a fire of advocacy that has never burned out. Motology School wasn’t born in a boardroom; it was born from the wreckage of that day. We teach because we know the cost of ignorance. It is not enough to simply “twist the throttle.” We are committed to arming you with the skills to be proactive, reactive, and preventative. We share the road, but we must also own the responsibility. We train you to live and have fun, so that the joy of the ride never has to end in silence. That is our “why”.

RIP Adrian Wong (2004)

You will always be remembered.
